The foundation of Liza’s career began in France when she was just 18 years old under the wings of Claude Terrail, Paris’ most elegant host and owner of the world famous La Tour d’Argent restaurant. It was there that she fell in love with food and wine and studied everything there was to know about restaurants, hospitality, entertaining and the culinary arts in Paris.

La Cachette became the darling of fine dining restaurants and was heralded as one of the top 10 restaurants in the country by Esquire magazine, Bon Appetit, Los Angeles Times, Saveur, Robb Report and Los Angeles Magazine Variety, Hollywood Reporter among many others.
With her enormous following, Liza then went on to create the wildly successful The Beach House restaurant in Santa Monica, Ca., where she opened with a long waiting list and spectacular reviews in Wine Spectator, Gourmet, Food & Wine, Angeleno, Los Angeles Magazine, LA Times, In Style, Variety, Hollywood Reporter and many more while receiving Zagat’s ‘Award of Distinction’ each year since opening.
There she continued to hone her expertise in food and wine – entertaining the who’s who of the entertainment industry, ‘A’ list celebrities and dignitaries from around the world, solidifying her status as a Master Host. This notoriety attracted television offers for Liza to share her knowledge and skills, helping people throughout the country find an entertaining style all their own with a dash of “charm, sass, and confidence!”
